The Max Factor Miracle Match foundation finally made its way to my country as well, which makes me happy because it's been available in many countries for months now. Let's see if it lives up to its claims.
A Max Factor Miracle Match alapozója végre hazánkba is megérkezett február közepén. Külföldön már kapható pár hónapja, és a jó visszajelzések miatt én is kíváncsian vártam, hogy miként is teljesít ez az alapozó.
The Miracle Match foundation is supposed to be a next generation foundation that moisturizes the skin, offers good coverage and helps to match your skintone while looking like skin. Now, I will start with the one negative feature I experienced: it doesn't really "match" the skin on its own. I've never actually found a foundation that lived up to that claim.

Max Factor Miracle Match foundation swatch - 50 Natural
There are 18 shades available in other countries, but in Hungary, the lightest shade you can get is 50 Natural. It is 1 or 2 shades darker than my skintone, so it doesn't match mine perfectly. It is not too big of a problem; the difference is minimal, and what can you do anyway if the 2 lightest shades didn't make it to your country. Shade 50 has yellow tones to it (which I like).
Összesen 18 árnyalat kapható külföldön, ám nálunk csak 5, és a két legvilágosabb árnyalat sajnos kimaradt a sorból. Az 50-es Natural névre hallgató árnyalat a hazánkban kapható legvilágosabb sárgás tónusú Miracle Match alapozó, de nekem így is 1-2 árnyalattal sötétebb. Ahogy azt sejteni, a "Miracle Match" hatás így nem teljesül, mert bronzosítani kell hozzá a nyakam. A bőrszínhez igazodó állítást még egy alapozó sem igazolta, ezért nem is lepődtem meg, és nem is ezért voltam kíváncsi a termékre.
A fő ok, amiért izgatottan vártam a terméket, az a természetes hatás és a jó fedés keveréke, valamint az, hogy szépen mutat a bőrhibákon. Utóbbi alatt főleg a száraz és hámló foltokat értem. Erre kitérek még bővebben is.
The main reason I was excited to try this product is the claim that it looks like skin, feels moisturising and handles skin imperfections really well. Thankfully it lived up to all those claims, so I am a happy camper. You can read more about the foundation's claims

Max Factor Miracle Match foundation - 50 Natural
It really has a soft, creamy and moisturising texture that doesn't feel heavy or greasy, and it also handles oily skin well. I have oily to combo skin with rough skin texture (big pores, scars, bumps) with a nose that peels all the time. I have dry skin flakes on my nose constantly, which makes me go bananas, and most foundations look really bad on dry flaky skin. You will see on the photos that the foundation sits decently on my dry flaky nose, which rarely happens. Dry flakes are impossible to cover up nicely, only my Catrice Infinite Matt and Asian BB creams managed to do that so far.
A Miracle Match alapozó valóban krémes és puha textúrájú, de ugyanakkor nem érezni nehéznek vagy zsírosnak a bőrön. Nekem kombinált bőröm van, ami jelen esetben zsíros, ám az orrom mindig száraz. Hámló, száraz bőrön nagyon kevés alapozó mutat jól, eddig csak a kedvenc Catrice Infinite Matt alapozóm és ázsiai BB krémek váltak be erre a problémára. Szerencsére és még nagyobb örömömre ez az alapozó is szépen ül a hámló pelyheken, ami ritka. Látni fogjátok a képen az orrom közepét - ez a legszebb applikáció, amit ilyen durván hámló orron elérhet az ember. Aki volt már ilyen helyzetben, annak ismerős.

naked skin vs. foundation vs. full makeup (no powder or primer)
I was breaking out badly at the time I was taking the photos (because of the sunscreen in one of the Avon Nutra Effect creams, if you're curious), so you could see how it covers problematic skin. It did a pretty awesome job for being a moisturising foundation. It does look like skin, and makes you look decent even if you have breakouts. It does minimize the pores a little, but if you have big pores like I do, you might need a pore filler. I didn't use any sort of primer, powder or pore filler on the photos.
Pont kapóra jött, hogy kiütötte az arcom a fényvédő az egyik Avon Nutra Effects krémben, hiszen így látni, hogy mennyire fedi el a bőrhibákat az alapozó. Rég nem volt ilyen ramaty állapotban a bőröm, mint a képen, és általában nem is kapok kiütést az egész arcomon. Nem akartam sokkolni az olvasókat, így csak a fél arcom látható smink nélkül, de elég csúnyán festett. Az állapotokat tekintve nagyon szépen fedett az alapozó, főleg, hogy egy hidratáló termékről beszélünk. A problémás területeken 2 rétegben, míg az arc többi részén egy rétegben vittem fel a terméket. Se primer, se púder nincs rajtam a képen.
Max Factor Miracle Match on the skin (without primer or powder)
It blends easily into the skin, I'd recommend using a flat top kabuki style brush or hands. A beauty blender type sponge takes away a lot of coverage. I used one layer all over my face, and tapped a second layer on my cheeks for extra coverage on the problematic area. It has a medium buildable coverage, and the product claims to have medium coverage, so no problems there. It easily lasts 8 hours on the skin, and the oil control was surprisingly good on me (4-5 hours).
Nagyon könnyen a bőrbe dolgozható az alapozó, és a legszebben lapos tetejű kabuki ecsettel vagy kézzel lehet felkenni. A nedves sminkszivacsok elvesznek a fedésből, ami nyilván minden alapozóra igaz, de ebben az esetben fokozott mértékben. Ennek ellenére mindhárom módszerrel nagyon szépen felvihetjük a terméket. Közepes építhető fedést kapunk, és ezt is állítja magáról az alapozó, tehát itt sincs semmi gond. Egy munkanapot könnyedén kibír (8 óra), és zsíros bőrön 4-5 óra után kezd el átfényesedni, ha nem használok púdert vagy primert. Ez több, mint jó.
Max Factor FaceFinity (45 Warm Almond) vs. Miracle Match (50 Natural)
The foundation claims to have light reflecting particles in it, but it's undetectable on the skin or in the bottle. I can't really see anything, not even if I look at the bottle up close. It gives a nice, skin-like finish that feels soft to the touch. Max Factor could totally sell this product as a BB cream, because it reminds me of my beloved Korean wonders in all aspects.
A fényvisszaverő részecskéket nem látni se a bőrön, se az üvegben, legalábbis én hiába próbálkoztam, pedig még napfényben is rohangáltam vele, hogy lássam őket. Felkenve természetes bőr hatást kelt, ami puha, ha megérintjük. Nem ragadós vagy púderes. Úgy érzem, hogy a Max Factor könnyedén árulhatná ezt az alapozót BB krémként, mert minden téren hasonlít a koreai BB krémjeimhez. Remek fedés, tartósság, természetes hatás és könnyű felvitel.
Max Factor FaceFinity (45 Warm Almond) vs. Miracle Match (50 Natural) swatches
The foundation has a faint, lotion-like scent to it that disappears after a minute. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump and a plastic cap, just like the FaceFinity foundation. The difference between the two foundations is that the Miracle Match blends more easily, it handles dry patches better and feels more natural on the skin than the FaceFinity does.
Az alapozónak alig érezhető, testápolóhoz hasonló illata van, amit egy perc után már nem érzek. Ugyanolyan üvegben érkezik, mint a FaceFinity alapozó, ugyanolyan pumpával és műanyag kupakkal. Összehasonlítva a két terméket, a Miracle Match könnyebben eldolgozható, szebben mutat a bőrön és a száraz foltokon és természetesebb hatást kelt, mint a FaceFinity.
